Welcome to the event registration page for Humber College's annual PR Networking Event.
This year's event, titled "Unplugged or Online: What's Your Status?", promises to be an inspiring morning of guest speakers, networking, and discussion on an extremely relevant PR issue.
The relevancy of social media to the PR world is immense. As an event theme, it exposes a current and sweeping trend, embraces all areas of PR, and evokes a meaningful dialogue about PR in the online world.
Humber College Public Relations students will engage with Public Relations professionals, and discuss their positions regarding incorporating social media into their business practices.
The event will take place Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Strate's Restaurant in Etobicoke.
Schedule:
8 A.M. - 9 A.M. Registration and breakfast
9 A.M. - 9:30 A.M. Introduction and guest speaker
9:30 A.M. - 11 A.M. Networking
11 A.M. - NOON Wrap-up, thank you, and mingle
The students of PRC 503: Event Planning and Management were assigned the task of planning a networking event for Public Relations students at Humber College.
This is the 3rd year this networking event has taken place.
